Isca Marina is a coastal resort developed in the 1970's when Italian tourists started coming to Calabria for summer vacations. It features mainly villas and refined buildings among ancient olive trees. A lungomare (seafront) will soon be completed. It distinguishes itself as a Marina from the main village of Isca sullo Ionia, of which it is officially part, for not being on the steep mountains of Calabria.
